Omelet in the microwave

Omelet Ingredients:

  • egg - 2 pcs.,
  • milk - 80-100 ml,
  • salt / pepper - to taste,
  • butter - a small piece for greasing the mold.

How to cook a simple omelette in the microwave

Wash the eggs well and break them into a bowl. Salt them to taste, pepper, if desired, season with spices.


Then shake the eggs with a whisk or fork until the eggs are converted into a homogeneous mass and foam appears.


Next, pour milk into the eggs and beat the mixture again with a whisk until smooth. The amount of milk can be adjusted to your taste. My omelet came out with a little liquid. The omelette mass is ready, it remains only to bake it in the microwave.


You can cook an omelet in the microwave in a mug / plate, heat-resistant form for the microwave or in a plastic container - it all depends on the volume of the omelette mixture and the available dishes. The main thing is that the egg-milk mixture occupies no more than half the volume. An omelette grows great when baked and can “escape” from the dish. I baked this simple omelette from 2 eggs in a 380 ml broth. Lubricate the bottom and sides of the selected dish with butter and pour the omelet mixture into it. Don't let the mixture stand too long, as the omelette can then become heavy and lose its airiness.


After that, we immediately load the omelette into the microwave, set the maximum power and bake for 3-4 minutes, depending on the power of the oven. The power of my microwave oven is 750 W, the time spent on cooking is 3.5 minutes. It is not necessary to cover the omelet with a lid.

After a couple of minutes, through the transparent door of the microwave, you can watch how the omelet grows into a fluffy hat. In the finished omelette, this hat will fall off, but it will still remain very tender and airy. You can serve such an omelet right in the same bowl where you cooked it.


Or transfer to a plate - the omelette is very easy to remove without losing its shape.

Omelette with stuffing in the microwave

Omelet Ingredients:

  • 100 ml milk
  • Salt, pepper to taste
  • a little plum. mold lubrication oils
  • hard / semi-hard cheese - 80-100 g,
  • milk sausages - 2 pcs.,
  • tomato - 1 pc.,
  • greens (dill, onion) - 2-3 branches each.

Now a few words about how to cook an omelet with filling in the microwave. First, we prepare the filling - i.e. grind all prepared products. We cut the tomato and sausages into cubes, finely chop the greens, three cheese on a grater with a large section.
