Rabbit legs in the oven with mayonnaise. How to choose a marinade for a rabbit? The best marinade recipe for stewing, smoking or roasting rabbit

stock up delicious compote from strawberries and cherries for the winter, so that on cool frosty days you can enjoy the summer aroma to your heart's content by opening a jar ... In the summer season, such berries are inexpensive, finding them is not a problem. With the amount of sugar in the process of seaming canned food, you can do freely: do not forget to try the berries, and depending on their sourness, add more or less sugar. Remember that berry compotes with seeds are stored for no more than 1 year, and without seeds - 2 years.

Ingredients

On the liter jar you will need:

  • 250 g strawberries
  • 250 g cherries
  • 120 g granulated sugar
  • 600 ml hot water
  • 1 pinch of citric acid

Cooking

1. Rinse the berries, remove the leaves and cuttings, if desired, remove the pits from the cherries or leave its berries whole.

2. Pour the berry mass into a deep saucepan or stewpan. If you cook a larger amount of compote, then multiply the number of ingredients accordingly.

3. Pour sugar into the pan. You can add a little vanilla sugar and ground cinnamon - they give the drink a brighter taste and aroma.

4. Fill hot water and place the container on the stove, turning on the maximum heat. We do not add a few centimeters to the top of the container so that the liquid can boil and so that the foam does not pour out when the berries float.

5. Bring the compote to a boil, reduce the heat to a minimum and boil everything for 15–20 minutes until cooked. During this time, we will scald jars and lids or sterilize them in any other way.

6. Pour boiling compote with berries into jars around the edge.

If you have never tried a combination of fragrant strawberries and juicy cherries, be sure to prepare such compote. A very tasty and fragrant homemade drink that we will prepare for the winter, you will definitely like it, because in one jar the most bright tastes summer. To prepare strawberry compote for the winter, we will use the double filling method, and I suggest the proportions for one 1 liter jar.

I must say that the recipe for this homemade drink (like most compotes for the winter) is very simple, and the cooking process is not distinguished by the presence of secrets. The amount of strawberries and cherries can be varied, as well as the amount of granulated sugar. If you use larger dishes, increase the products accordingly.

Ingredients:

Cooking step by step with photos:

Berries (150 grams of strawberries - net weight) are sorted out (substandard, that is, crumpled, can be used for cooking strawberry jam or marshmallows, and safely throw away the spoiled ones) and mine. To do this, we collect cold water in a large container, put strawberries in it and let it swim for a minute - this way the sand will sink to the bottom. Gently mix the berries with your hands, then remove and transfer to a colander. It is important not to remove the stalks until the berries are clean. Otherwise, strawberries will absorb a large number of water and sour. We remove the stems. We sort out 150 grams of cherries, remove the tails, wash the berries.

Then (can be in advance or in the process) you need to carefully prepare the jars and lids in any way convenient for you. Since even for compotes I use jars with a capacity of no more than one liter, they fit perfectly in the microwave, in which the sterilization process takes place. Thoroughly wash the cans with soda or detergent, then rinse in cold water and pour about 100 milliliters of water into the bottom of each. We put in the microwave and steam on the highest power. For one jar - 5 minutes, and 4 banks together is enough for 10 minutes. I just wash the lids, put them in a saucepan, pour water (so that the lids are completely covered) and boil for about 5 minutes. We put the berries in prepared jars - I gave the proportions for one liter jar, if you remember. In other words, we put 150 grams of strawberries and cherries in one liter jar.
