Homemade lemonade recipe with mint and strawberries. Homemade strawberry lemonade

First of all, let's prepare fruits and berries. We will use the lemons together with the peel, so we will wash them thoroughly with a brush. Cut the lemons into large slices.
Wash the strawberries and remove the stems. If the berries are large, cut in half.

We send berries-fruits to a blender. Grind until smooth.

So that the pulp and pieces of lemon do not distract us from the taste of lemonade, they must be removed from the total mass. To do this, use a sieve or colander with small holes.
Grind well to get a berry mass of medium density, without pieces.

At the end of this procedure, pour a little water into the uncleaned part, and wash out all the precious juices.
We dilute the strawberry-lemon fresh juice with purified water.

Let's taste the liquid. If the strawberries are sweet enough and you don't really like sugary drinks, you can leave everything as it is.
Otherwise, taste with honey or sugar of your choice.
Add ice to pitcher of lemonade and stir.
I want to add that in a similar way you can make lemonade from frozen strawberries without defrosting. Then ice is not needed!

Of course, the lemonade must be chilled enough. Pour into glasses and garnish with mint leaves.

In the heat, this drink successfully replaces tea or coffee, becomes a useful alternative to purchased juices and sodas, and its beautiful scarlet color, strawberry slices floating in a jug and contrasting basil leaves will surely attract attention, will appeal to both children and adults. After hearty lunch, instead of a sweet dessert or just on a hot day, a glass of homemade strawberry lemonade will be especially appropriate.

The culinary procedure with our participation takes only a few minutes, but here you need to take into account the time for infusing the drink. The crushed mixture of strawberries and basil is poured with boiling water, covered with a lid and remains in this form until it cools. During this time, the liquid will be saturated with aroma, turn into a bright color and acquire rich taste. Before serving, lemonade is aged in the refrigerator for final cooling.

  • strawberries - 150 g;
  • green basil leaves - 5 g (3-4 sprigs);
  • lemon - ½ pc.;
  • sugar - 4 tbsp. spoons or to taste;
  • water - 1 l.

How to make Strawberry Basil Lemonade

  1. We wash the basil, shake off the drops of water. We separate the leaves of the plant from the stems and lower them into the blender bowl.
  2. We tear off the green “tails” from the washed strawberries. If the berry is large, cut into 2 parts, then add to the basil. To make lemonade, you do not need to choose the most beautiful strawberries - slightly crushed ones are also suitable here, because in the end we will turn them into puree anyway. But in any case, we must sort out the berry, do not allow spoiled, rotten or unripe specimens to enter the drink.
  3. Turn on the blender and grind the contents of the bowl. It is not necessary to achieve perfect uniformity - it's okay if there are blotches of basil in the total mass.
  4. We shift the strawberry-basil puree into a heat-resistant dish, pour a liter of boiling water.
  5. Add sugar to hot liquid and stir. The dosage depends on the natural sweetness of the berries and how sweet the lemonade you want to get. For moderate sweetness and refreshing taste, 4 tbsp. spoons, for a sweeter version, the portion can be increased.
  6. Squeeze juice from half a lemon with a juicer - we need 2-3 tbsp. spoons. We put the citrus juice aside for now, and add the peel to a hot drink. Cover the bowl with a lid and let the liquid cool completely.
  7. We filter the cooled drink through a sieve, you can twice. We get rid of the lemon peel, particles of berries and basil. Add lemon juice to the strained mixture.
  8. Before serving, remove the strawberry lemonade for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator. To make the drink more attractive in appearance, we throw in a few slices of strawberries and a couple of fresh basil leaves. If desired, add ice cubes to cool the liquid even more and quench your thirst.

Fragrant and insanely delicious strawberry lemonade will perfectly refresh you in the summer heat. The heat really doesn't stand a chance if you stock up on such a colorful drink for the whole day by making it in the morning and putting it in the fridge. The strawberry season is not great, so on hot June days it is so nice to treat your family with a glass of such strawberry lemonade, giving them not only coolness, but also a lot of useful vitamins. Believe me, this version of homemade lemonade will be much more useful than drinks purchased in a store or supermarket!

Ingredients

You will need for 1 liter of drink:

  • 400 g strawberries
  • 5 st. l. granulated sugar
  • 3-4 lemon slices
  • 1 st. l. lemon juice
  • 2 stalks fresh mint
  • ice to taste
  • 0.5 l carbonated mineral chilled water

Cooking

1. Ripe strawberry berries rinse in water and remove their tails. Pour them into a deep container. Let's add granulated sugar. If desired, you can also add a little ground cinnamon or vanilla sugar.

2. Puree the strawberries with an immersion blender for 2-3 minutes in homogeneous mass. This can also be done in the bowl of a food processor.

3. Pour the strawberry puree into a jug or decanter. Add chopped lemon slices and lemon juice to it. Peel the mint leaves from the stalks. By the way, if you do not have lemon juice available, then you can replace the sparkling water with Sprite or Fanta with lemon flavor.

Strawberry lemonade can rightly be called one of the most summer drinks. This soft drink will not only allow you to cope with the summer heat, but also make it as tasty as possible using one of the most popular and loved by many seasonal berries. We decided to devote this material to several variations of this refreshing lemonade at once.

Strawberry Lemonade - Recipe

This version of lemonade is full of strawberry flavor due to the fact that the berries are completely pureed during cooking, leaving a drink with a rich strawberry flavor.

Ingredients:

  • sugar - 65 g;
  • water - 950 ml;
  • - 115 ml;
  • strawberries - 210 g.

Cooking

Dissolve the sugar in a glass of hot water and cool the resulting syrup. Puree the peeled strawberries, and if necessary, additionally wipe through a sieve. Mix strawberry puree with lemon juice and dissolve all the rest cold water. Top lemonade with syrup and serve over ice.

Strawberry Mint Lemonade

To make the drink even more refreshing, you can use fresh mint. 5-6 sprigs are more than enough to give lemonade a characteristic taste, but fresh herbs can also be replaced with mint extract.

Ingredients:

  • juice of 5 lemons;
  • zest of one lemon;
  • granulated sugar - 145 g;
  • plain water - 190 ml;
  • strawberries - 210 g;
  • - 5-6 branches;
  • sparkling water - 590 ml.

Cooking

Start with a light citrus syrup, for which you need to warm up plain water with lemon zest and sugar. When the syrup boils, it must be filtered and left to cool.

Puree 2/3 of all berries and pass through a sieve if desired. Cut the rest of the strawberries into small pieces. Pluck the mint leaves from the twigs and place in the bowl of your choice. Pour the remaining sparkling water over the mint and strawberries, pour in the citrus juice and leave the drink in the cold for 5-6 hours, then serve.

How to make Strawberry Basil Lemonade?

If you want more original combinations, then make strawberry-basil lemonade. Sprite will add sweetness to this drink, but it can be replaced with tonic or any sweet soda to taste.

Ingredients:

  • strawberries - 20 berries;
  • "Sprite" - 1 l;
  • juice of one lime;
  • handful of fresh basil

Cooking

Puree the peeled strawberries and arrange in four glasses. Pour lime juice over strawberry puree and add basil leaves, pureed or simply picked. Pour the contents of the glasses with Sprite and add a few pieces of ice.

Strawberry Ginger Lemonade

This fragrant lemonade will help you fully get enough of the taste of strawberries. Sweet and sour berries go well with spicy ginger syrup.

Ingredients:

  • water - 490 ml;
  • sugar - 135 g;
  • ginger - 15 g;
  • strawberries - 10-12 berries;
  • sparkling water - 1.4 liters.

Cooking

Start by preparing the syrup. Boil the sugar with half the water and the pieces of ginger. When the ginger syrup boils, cover it and remove from heat. Leave to infuse until cool, then strain.

Puree the strawberries, cover them with the remaining water, cooled syrup and add ice to taste.

Strawberry lemonade at home

You can even make strawberry lemonade out of season using frozen berries.

Place the first three ingredients in a high-speed blender and dilute the finished berry puree with water. The finished drink is quite chilled due to the use of frozen berries, but you can add ice if you wish.

homemade lemonade much healthier than store-bought, after all, it does not contain dyes and preservatives. Yes, this drink is easy to make. Lemonade can be made from fresh seasonal berries or frozen. I decided to make strawberry lemonade, it turned out not only tasty and fragrant, but also very beautiful and bright.

To make homemade lemonade, I took frozen strawberries and thawed them first. I didn’t drain the juice from the berries, it perfectly complemented my strawberry lemonade. You can take any carbonated water.

Lemon washed and scalded with boiling water. Pour filtered water into a saucepan, add sugar and put on fire. Boil the sugar mixture for 2 minutes, then remove from heat and cool completely.

Place the strawberries along with the juice that has separated into a blender bowl. If you are using fresh berries then wash and dry them. Squeeze juice from one lemon and add to strawberries. Blend strawberries with lemon juice until a smooth puree is formed.

Pour into the saucepan sugar syrup, berry puree and sparkling water. Mix everything well. Before serving, add pieces of ice to the decanter and pour in our lemonade.

Serve strawberry lemonade. For children, I pour lemonade into small bottles and insert cocktail tubes.
