Ingredients

To prepare puffs with ham and cheese, you will need (8-10 pieces):
400 g puff yeast dough;
200 g of hard cheese;
200 g of ham;
1 st. l. sesame seeds;
1 st. l. flour (for working with dough);
1 tsp flax seeds (optional)
1 egg.

Cooking steps

Let's prepare the stuffing for the buns. Cut cheese and ham into small cubes, mix. The filling is ready.

Defrost the dough. Add flour to the work surface, put the dough and roll it out. Spread the filling evenly around the entire perimeter of the dough, tuck the edges of the dough on the right and left and roll the dough into a tight "roll".

The resulting "roll" cut into 8-10 equal parts (buns).

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the buns on it. Slightly open them, giving the shape of the "petals".

Bake ham and cheese puffs for 20-30 minutes until firm and golden brown. Ready buns cool (preferably on a wire rack).

The rolls are very filling and tasty. The recipe uses several types of sausage and cheese, cheese. In any case, this is a plus - you can make an audit in the refrigerator and find a use small portions products. And if something didn’t turn out, then you can replace it with a similar product or make the filling simpler.

Dough Ingredients: 500 grams of flour, 30 grams of yeast (or two teaspoons of dry), 100 ml. warm water and a glass of milk, 2 - 3 tablespoons of melted butter, salt and black pepper to taste.
Filling Ingredients: 100 grams of raw smoked sausage, 100 grams of ham, 200 grams of boiled sausage, 200 grams of cheese, a little sausage cheese and cheese (it is better to use sheep). It will take three eggs and black ground pepper.

Grind yeast with sugar, pour in milk with water, melted butter, pepper and salt. Sift the flour, add it to the liquid and knead the dough. Put it in heat for an hour and a half.
Prepare the filling. Cut the sausage and cheese into small cubes, grate the cheese. Boil the eggs and chop finely.
Roll out the dough into a rectangle, grease with oil, spread the filling (it needs to be slightly pressed into the dough) and sprinkle generously with black ground pepper. Roll up the roll, roll it tightly so that there are no voids left. Cut the roll into small pieces, brush with egg and place in the oven over medium heat. Rolls are baked for about an hour.

Roll of puff pastry

Ingredients:

Puff pastry
300 g ham or sausage
300 g cheese
spices
ketchup
sauerkraut (or fresh)

Cooking

Roll out the dough, sprinkle with cheese, sausage on top, lightly sprinkle with spices, cover with a layer of cabbage, pour a little ketchup and wrap a roll.

Ingredients

  • - a package (500 g) of puff pastry without yeast
  • - 200 g hard cheese(Dutch)
  • - 300 g ham
  • - 2-3 fleshy tomatoes
  • - 2-3 pickled cucumbers
  • - mustard
  • - greens
  • - ground black pepper to taste
  • - a mixture of dried herbs (Provencal or French)
  • - an egg for greasing the roll

Cooking

Defrost the dough according to the instructions on the package, roll out to get a rectangular layer of medium thickness. Lubricate the surface of the dough with mustard.

Grate the cheese, cut the tomatoes into cubes, cucumbers into slices or strips, chop the greens.

First put half of the cheese on the dough layer, then tomatoes, ham, cucumbers and greens, then the second half of the cheese. Pepper to taste. You do not need to add salt, since both ham and cucumbers are already quite salty by themselves.

Carefully roll up the roll, pinch the edges. Lubricate the surface with yolk and sprinkle generously with aromatic herbs.

Bake the roll at 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Cooking welcomes a flight of fancy: you can replace ham boiled meat or any other meat product (sausage of any kind, sausages). Tomato is a great substitute or addition bell pepper. What I would leave unchanged is mustard and pickled cucumbers, they are what give the roll a unique piquancy!

Roll mini pizzas
A very handy recipe. We roll up rolls from sheets of ready-made puff pastry with filling, cool, cut and bake mini pizzas.

Ingredients

4 sheets of puff pastry
6-7 art. spoons of tomato sauce
3-4 sweet peppers of different colors
180-250 g cheese
salt and pepper

Cooking

Roll out lightly puff pastry while maintaining its rectangular shape. Lubricate the surface with a brush tomato sauce, leaving an edge of approximately 15 mm intact on one side.
We cut sweet peppers into small cubes, put them on the dough, leaving the edge as well, salt and pepper, if necessary, and cover with grated cheese. We roll up the rolls and pinch the edges. Wrap tightly in cling film.
In this form, rolls can wait at least a day for baking in the refrigerator. However, if we are going to bake pizza right away, then first we put them in the freezer for 20-30 minutes - it's easier to cut them.
What we do with a well-sharpened knife, dividing the rolls into circles 12-20 mm thick and laying them out on baking paper. And bake at 180-190 ° for about 10 minutes - until the cheese is melted and the dough is browned.
On average, this amount of dough will make about 40 mini-pizzas. Of course, they can be made with any other filling by adding sausage, ham, etc.

I bring to your attention a fashionable little thing: puff pastry rolls with ham snack pops. I think many people immediately guessed that the theme of cake pops is played up in this way, only snack pops are snacks on a stick (depending on the size, you can use both toothpicks and wooden skewers cut into pieces for shish kebab). Snack pops differ from canapes, which are also snacks and also on sticks, in that they are supposed to be at the top of the sticks, like lollipops lollipops. In general, this is just another old fairy tale in a new way, allowing you to serve the usual combinations of products with a new design. For example, such here or something similar that many have already seen or tried.

A lot of traditional, but larger snacks, both hot and cold, can be turned into snack pops, absolutely not necessarily from puff pastry and in the form of a roll. But such rolls of puff pastry with ham are simply made very easily, and at the same time they look very impressive. Well, besides, they are very convenient and practical for buffet table serving with a crowd of people. You can make similar rolls with other products (sausage, red fish). In my opinion, it’s better not to mess with cheese - it spreads unpredictably, it often turns out ugly, and for small forms in the world of snacks, aesthetics are still very important.

Cut the ham into more or less rectangular pieces.

We set the oven to warm up to 200 C with air circulation.

We spread the ham with a continuous surface over the puff pastry, cut off a piece from it so that it is 1 cm wider than the strip of ham.

Helping ourselves with paper, roll up a roll of puff pastry with ham. We seal it with the left free edge of the dough, it should be outside, and not inside the roll.

With a sharp knife, cut the roll into 1-1.5 cm thick washers. It is convenient to use one washer as a model for cutting off the rest.

We strengthen the rolls with ham on toothpicks, like lollipops, and lay them on a baking sheet on top of confectionery paper so that the pieces of dough do not touch each other.

We bake in an oven preheated to 200 ° C with air circulation at an average level for 15 minutes.

Puff pastry rolls with ham can be eaten both hot and cold.

To enhance the flavor, add as much dill or parsley as possible. The best spice is oregano. This seasoning is just like no other. And so that the baked flour billet has a beautiful ruddy crust - grease it with a beaten chicken egg.

    Take a container in which you will mix the above listed ingredients. Peel and wash the red onion, finely chop and place in a bowl. Next cut meat product into small cubes. Transfer to a bowl. And then take dill greens, rinse it and chop it.

    Season the finished mixture with 2-3 tablespoons of sour cream, add 1 egg white and rub 150 g of hard cheese. Salt and pepper to taste, add a pinch of oregano. Mix everything thoroughly.

    Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle and place the filling on top. Spread the mixture around the entire perimeter of the workpiece, as shown in the photo.

    Roll up and cut into small pieces (2-3 cm wide).

    Now transfer the blanks to parchment paper and brush generously with the egg mixture.

    Send the baking sheet with the buns to the oven to bake at 200 degrees for 13-15 minutes until cooked. As soon as they are ready, remove from the oven and transfer to portioned plates. Serve warm with sour cream or any other delicious sauce. Here is the ham and cheese roll! Enjoy your meal!
