If you have purchased mayonnaise with an indistinct taste, then you can add a little mustard to it, this will make the salad taste brighter and spicier, not so bland. Please note that all layers of the salad must be lubricated gently, without pressing - this is another secret to the tenderness of the dish.

The second layer is prunes and nuts. Use good quality prunes that are fleshy and juicy with a slight smoky flavor. If it is still dry, then pre-fill with boiling water and leave for a while so that the prunes absorb a little liquid and become juicier. Chop the prunes with a knife and immediately put crushed walnuts on top - about a handful, break into small crumbs in a blender (leave a couple of kernels for decoration). Lubricate with mayonnaise.
