How to color eggs with natural products?

3. Beets. Use beetroot juice, soak the testicles in it and get a raspberry or even pink hue after. But, here you have to hold it for 10 hours for the color to occur.
4. Coffee. If you don't have coffee, then take tea. The effect will be almost the same. Brew and hold in such a tea or coffee solution for a couple of hours. Here are my experiments with tea).
5. Spinach. It makes a cool green color, cut it into pieces and put it in a saucepan, bring to a boil and cook until you get the desired result.
6. Cabbage. This method is also popular and safe for health. Use only a variety of cabbage such as red cabbage. That's just the time the eggs in the water should be 10 hours, so that they turn purple.

How to decorate eggs without dyes using turmeric?

How to paint eggs with beets for Easter
Before you start painting eggs, read the rules below so that this idea does not turn into a complete disappointment.
Before you start cooking the eggs, they need to be brought to room temperature, taking them out of the refrigerator a couple of hours before cooking.
Add 1.5 tablespoons of salt to 1 liter of water in water. Salt will not allow protein to flow out if it does crack.
For a more even color, wash them thoroughly with a sponge before cooking.
In addition to chicken eggs, you can also paint quail eggs for the Easter holiday, they look very cute.
And to fix the paint, vinegar is added to the paint, 1.5 tbsp. for 1.5 liters of water.
For a more beautiful effect, you can rub with a drop of sunflower oil. They will be glossy and very rich in color.

Coloring with beetroot juice
What should be done :
Grind the beets and with the help of additional tools (such as a juicer) squeeze out its juice;

Pour 1.5 teaspoons of 9% table vinegar into beetroot juice. There should be a lot of juice so that it completely covers the blanks.
And leave them to settle in this juice for several hours. Periodically turn over them and watch the color saturation when it suits you, take out the painted products and wipe on dry. 
Coloring eggs with beet pulp

You just need to chop the raw beets and rub the boiled testicles with it until you get the shade you need. Then let them dry and brush with refined oil.
Do not forget to wear rubber gloves, otherwise at Easter you will be not only with colored eggs, but also with no less bright hands.
Grate also fresh beets and boil them for about 15 minutes. Then strain the broth and put the testicles in it all night. 
Depending on the chosen method and time of exposure, you can get from a light pink tint to dark burgundy. 
Painting with onion peel
To paint eggs in this way, you need to prepare in advance. Now even in stores they began to sell onion peel for a purely symbolic price.
But it is not at all necessary to buy it, just a few weeks before Easter, do not throw away onion peels during cooking. And by the day you need you will have enough for painting. 
Ingredients :
- Onion peel - 1 bunch;
- Eggs - 10pcs;
- Water - 1 liter;
- Saucepan - 1 pc.
Let's get started:
Dry the onion peel first. 
Pour onion peel with water and put on high heat until boiling, then make medium heat and let it boil for 30 minutes. 
When the broth is ready, remove it from the heat and set aside to cool to room temperature. 
Remove the chicken from the refrigerator, give a couple of hours and wash thoroughly. 
Strain the onion broth, very carefully transfer the blanks into it, at room temperature, and put on fire for 10 minutes. 
After the products have been dyed, transfer them to another container and pour ice water over them. Onion broth can be used several times, the quality of dyeing eggs will not deteriorate from this. 
Rub them with sunflower oil for a glossy shine.
Marble way of coloring eggs
When inspiration comes to create the original, from improvised means, we advise you to use this method of painting. Thanks to not cunning tricks, as a result, souvenirs of ordinary beauty are obtained, and it is hard to believe that they are real.
Tools:
- Onion peel - 1 bunch;
- Water - 1.5 liters;
- Eggs - 10pcs;
- Nylon stockings - 1 pair.
Let's get started:
First, cut the onion peel into different pieces, with a maximum diameter of 1 centimeter. 
Plus, grind the same white sheet of paper, and mix them. 
This is done so that the products are not completely painted, but just the same, a marble effect is obtained. You can also add red onion husks.
Preheated to room temperature, moisten with water and roll well in the husk with paper. 
Cut nylon tights into about 15 * 15 centimeters squares, and wrap the testicles in them in the husk. Having tied them in the same way with a stocking, not a bow. 
Put everything in a saucepan, pour the remaining husk there, pour water and put on fire. Boiling field reduce heat and cook for 40 minutes. 
Then take out the products, free them from nylon and husks, and only then cool them with ice water. Next, put them on a napkin and wipe dry. Be very careful while doing this. 
Marble pattern in onion peel and brilliant green
This method is similar to the previous one, with the exception of adding a few drops of ordinary brilliant green. It also has every right to exist, because it is thanks to the Green Diamond solution that the marble color is more pronounced and saturated, try both methods yourself and choose the one that suits you best. Ingredients :
- Onion peel - 1 bunch;
- Water - 1.5 liters;
- Eggs - 10pcs;
- Nylon stockings - 1 pair;
- Green Diamond solution - 1 bottle.
Let's get started:
Grind onion peel with paper and mix thoroughly. 
Products , room temperature , rinse with a sponge and mix with onion skins . Cut nylon tights into squares 15 * 15 centimeters, and cut into strips for tying blanks. Wrap them up. 
Carefully place crafts in a saucepan, pour water, light the biggest fire, put on the stove. As soon as the water boils, pour a bottle of brilliant green into it and let it boil for at least 8 minutes.
When they are cooked , spoon them into cold water , cool and unwrap .

Boil the onion peel for at least 30 minutes to obtain a rich broth.

Easter eggs with rice pattern

- Nylon stocking - 1 pair;
- Rice - 150g.
Let's start:
Boil chopped onion peel in salted water for 30 minutes. Wash the products thoroughly, roll in rice. 
Make a bag out of nylon, pour 1 tbsp. rice and put an egg. Spread the rice evenly. The bag should be tied as tightly as possible. 
It is better to take long-grain rice, because it does not boil for longer, and the pattern will turn out for sure.
Boil eggs with rice in onion broth for at least 10 minutes.
Cool the finished products and unfold.
Decorating Easter eggs with lace and onion skins
They look very gentle, painted with onion peel and decorated with a pattern from lace. At first glance, it may seem that this is not a feasible task, but in fact there is nothing complicated here. Try it yourself and you will see for yourself. The variety of patterns directly depends on the lace itself, on the width, number of patterns and monograms.

First, prepare a strong decoction of onion peel. To do this, it must be boiled for at least 30 minutes.

You can start:
First, prepare a strong onion broth in the standard way, cool it. Warm the testicles to room temperature to avoid cracking. Boil in onion broth. Pat dry with paper towel and set aside to cool. 
Using a pencil, draw an example of the future pattern on the egg. There are no special rules here, as in pysanka, you can draw whatever is convenient for your soul.

Decorating eggs with wax in onion broth using the pysanka technique
A very common method in Ukraine, decorating eggs with wax. But it takes certain skills to do it. Since the wax decoration is made using a special device " Pisachok"- This is a wooden stick with a thin funnel at the end. It is with it that wax is collected, and a drawing is applied. 
Required tools:
- Food coloring - 2 pcs;
- Pisachok - 1pc;
- Candle - 1pc;
- Eggs - 2pcs;
- Cotton pad - 2pcs;
- Vinegar - 50 gr.
Getting Started:
We take the products out of the refrigerator in advance and heat them up to desired temperature, because otherwise the wax simply will not fall. Then we wipe them with a cotton pad dipped in 9% table vinegar. We dilute the dye according to the instructions on the package, not forgetting to add vinegar at the end to fix the color. 
Light a candle and let it warm up to melt the wax. We dip the pisachok into the melted wax and heat it under the flame. 
We begin to gradually apply wax to the surface of the shell. 
The pisachok must be kept even, but the egg must be twisted with your left hand to obtain the necessary pattern.
The surface on which the wax is applied will not be stained later and will remain white, while the rest of the surface will acquire the desired color.
Then we lower them into the dye and withstand the required time according to the instructions. 
Next, we clean the egg from wax, for this we heat it over the fire of a candle and rub it with a wool rag.

How to dye eggs with natural dyes
The modern food coloring market is literally replete with the proposed color palette. But painted souvenirs in this way are not always desirable to eat, and especially to give them to children. Despite the fact that all the labels say that the food coloring, it does not get any easier. Therefore, we suggest you use our tips for dyeing eggs with natural dyes. 
Indeed, in addition to onion peel, there are many more wonderful vegetables and spices, which, although not so bright and saturated, are still painted in various shades. Let's start gradually listing them according to the desired colors.
From dark red to pink:
Brew arcade tea as strong as possible and boil in this broth for at least 10 minutes, the longer you boil, the richer the shade will become. Even in a burgundy-pink shade, a decoction of grated beets will help to recolor. 
Orange shade:
With such a bright color, carrots will do great. It is necessary to grate it and boil it for several minutes, then cool and dip future souvenirs into it and boil everything together for at least ten minutes. Of the spices, paprika and ground red pepper will help you, 3 tablespoons per 1 liter of water and boil for at least thirty minutes. 
Yellow shade:
This color can be obtained thanks to the spice saffron (turmeric). Dilute three tablespoons of turmeric in half a liter of water and boil for several minutes over very low heat. Just cool it and boil the eggs in it. To get a yellow tint, use citrus peels or young birch leaves if they have already appeared in your area. 
Various shades of green: For this, you can use the juice of various greens, for example, parsley, dill, basil. For a richer shade, use spinach leaves. Boil the greens for at least thirty minutes, then cool and boil in this broth.
Even for greens, the use of brilliant green is allowed. But there is no need to cook in a solution of brilliant green, just put them in it for a while, turning over from time to time, until the desired shade is obtained. 
Brown and gold:
Here you will need a traditional onion peel or a strong coffee solution. Blue shades:
Here is an assistant for you - red cabbage. Finely chop it, add water and a couple of tablespoons table vinegar. When the solution is infused, place pre-cooked eggs in it and wait for the desired shade. 
Lilac shade:
Red onion husks will give a beautiful lilac hue, and if you boil them longer, you can bring them to purple. 
When using food coloring, be aware that the longer you keep it in the solution, the richer the color will turn out.
