Dairy friendship porridge with buckwheat. Porridge "Friendship" in milk and water: a recipe in the oven, slow cooker, stove

Who among us does not like porridge? Someone loves on water, someone - on milk. Porridge can be cooked both as a side dish and as independent dish. You can add fruits and vegetables, spices and seasonings - all the same, cereals will be very tasty and healthy. Porridges are very suitable for breakfast, giving strength and energy for the whole day.

if you love buckwheat porridge, if you love rice porridge- that way! I will show you how to cook buckwheat-rice porridge with milk. The combination of these cereals will not leave you indifferent, both adults and children will like buckwheat-rice porridge. Adding raisins and vanilla sugar will only enhance the wonderful taste of this dish.

So, for cooking buckwheat-rice porridge in milk, we need simple ingredients: buckwheat, rice, milk, raisins, a piece of butter, sugar and a little salt.

Wash the raisins and soak them for a few minutes in cold water.

If you have a thick-bottomed pot, take it to cook porridge. I cook in a pan. Put a piece of butter in a hot pan, add 1 tsp. sugar, lay out the washed and dried cereals.

Stir the contents for 5-7 minutes without reducing the heat, then each grain caramelizes, this will give the porridge a special taste. Salt to taste, add vanilla sugar.

Keeping the heat on, pour in the milk. It will immediately acquire a beautiful creamy color.

Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook the porridge for 15-20 minutes under the lid, stirring occasionally. The amount of milk depends on your preference - if you like a thinner porridge, add more milk. Put the raisins, mix the porridge.

On low heat, sweat the porridge under the lid for another 5 minutes. Buckwheat-rice porridge with milk is ready! The wonderful aroma of porridge has probably already attracted your family to the table. Immediately set the table and treat yourself to wonderful buckwheat-rice porridge! Creamy, tender, satisfying, beautiful - this is how we got a porridge!

Since this recipe is rather "based on", I will immediately make a reservation - cereals can be taken in any set. Today I had only 5 types, and it happened, I pawned more. There is a wide field for improvisation here - not only a set of cereals, but also the ratio of ingredients. However, it is IMPORTANT to observe the ratio of cereals and water. I like crumbly porridge, so I take twice as much water in volume as cereals and add another quarter cup to "hard" cereals. No less important is the order of laying cereals in a pot or cauldron in which porridge is cooked.

I took 3 tablespoons of each of the cereals - barley, buckwheat, rice, millet, barley.

In a cauldron, bring water to a boil, salt. And began to pour cereals in turn. I started with the longest-playing pearl barley. When the water with barley boiled, let it boil for 2-3 minutes, and poured buckwheat, then rice. Next came millet, the last - barley groats.

After laying each cereal, the future porridge was carefully mixed and brought to a boil, and only after that the next one was introduced. Then the cauldron was tightly closed with a lid and left to cook over very low heat until tender.

Of course, the porridge could be brought to readiness in the oven, or the cauldron could be well wrapped in a blanket, when the water was practically not visible on the surface, and put in the oven for several hours. It will be tastier. But this is already a winter version, it's hot with us!

Later I added one more remark: if there is no more water (it happens - cereals are of different humidity), and the porridge seems still undercooked, I pierce the porridge layer to the bottom, make such "mines" in which I add a little water. Water should be taken hot, and poured very little.

Such porridge is good as a side dish, but tasty on its own - with butter, sour cream or milk.

Try it! Enjoy your meal.

Why porridge? Because these products are relatively inexpensive, and if something doesn’t work out, then you won’t have to be very upset.

What is a good multicooker in the first place? At least the fact that cereals in it are obtained with minimal losses useful properties. This happens due to proper cooking. The most common mistake of the hostess when cooking porridge with milk is when she pours cereal into boiling milk. The porridge does not need to be boiled. And in the multicooker, slow heating occurs, the porridge languishes like in a Russian oven and it turns out amazingly tasty. It doesn't burn and doesn't need to be monitored. Porridge is well boiled, tasty and healthy.

Another one nice feature multicookers in that you can put all the products in it in the evening, leave it like that for the night, and in the morning you can eat freshly prepared porridge. But here you need to be sure in your milk that it will not turn sour; on a hot summer night, this cooking option is definitely not suitable.

Friendship porridge can be cooked not only with milk, using sweet additives. It can also be cooked with meat or mushrooms. It will be no less delicious. There is no need to use milk. And some cook friendly porridge in layers. Take instant cereals, for example rice, millet, buckwheat. First, one type of porridge is washed and sent to the slow cooker, then the second, then a layer of fried mushrooms. Then another layer of porridge and water is poured, spices and salt are added. And instead of mushrooms, you can use fried chicken fillet or other meat. Try to cook porridge "Friendship", we are sure you will like it too.

Immediately add 2 cups (400 milliliters) of water and salt to taste.

After the liquid boils, reduce the heat to a minimum, cover the pan with a lid, and simmer the side dish for 25 minutes.
