Some recipes (and the Potato cake) have long become classics. Each housewife keeps her own piggy bank of secrets - how to make a masterpiece out of an ordinary set of products. So, for example, we added powdered sugar instead of sugar to the crumble, because powdered sugar easier to dissolve in butter than sugar crystals. Yes, and the dough with powder is more tender. Only the powder needs less (150 grams) - it is painfully sweet. And we baked without parchment, because we have a good shape - with a special coating. And they also thought that crumble can even be baked in portions - in a separate thin foil basket or in special cups. Each guest will then receive their own serving of apple crumble pie. But this is a different level of work with the book, an adult.

What is important for children? So that together with my mother, so that everything with our own little hands - loosen, grind, stir, knead ... And so that everyone can taste the result of confectionery creativity. The most enjoyable crowning work of a little cook is to treat someone to his own “masterpiece”. I haven’t written anything here for a long time ... But, this does not mean at all that I had nothing to say. Oooh, I just had to say that, there is, and, as the zoks say, “there will be!” me until I finally pronounce this very thing (like in confession - say, my dear, ease your soul: you are not ashamed before the Almighty, and you are not ashamed before your fellow citizens - suddenly, yes, someone exactly those texts that have not been spoken yet are not enough) )).

Part one (mythological).
Myth 1: for those who have not read Zokov and Badu, this whole game with the involvement of heroes to culinary process will be incomprehensible.
Never so! “Zoki and Bada” is definitely a useful thing (to improve mood in particular). But in this case it is not paramount. Maybe just the opposite, just after this one you will want to read it.

Myth 2: anyone could be in the place of the heroes - even hares, even bears, even mice, even obscure something with ears - the meaning will not change and the cookbook will remain so.
On the one hand, yes, there could be a different population. BUT!
Who there spoke about: entrust a good author at least with a cookbook and that will be of interest? Truly so! And good authors (Irina and Leonid Tyukhtyaev) have lovers of sweet Zoka (why are they worse than others?). While working on the text, the authors need to stir thoroughly: call them and remind them that it is time to take the text out of the oven, or, conversely, that the text they have prepared is raw, and “it is better to make drawings according to the finished text, while it has not cooled down yet.”
And, of course, in best traditions zokov - you need to wash your hands periodically. Everyone! Without exception. And when you are preparing a book, and when you are preparing according to the book, and when after, you sit down at the table in anticipation of the “apocalypse”. Agree - a useful thing)

Myth 3 - they started franchising, wrote one thing, now there will be cookbooks, and all sorts of drawings, and other scribbles based on it. If only fans of the zoks would understand.
Well, the franchise is different from the franchise (I do not deny the fact). But again, BUT!
If there are unusual heroes. If there is an interesting fairy tale / not a fairy tale with them, but something amusing, witty, and very pleasant from the point of view of literature. So why not continue the topic? Yes, not anyhow. And in the style, character of the very underlying literature and with excerpts from it along the way (and even whole plot pieces - to the point). After all, it is created for children - and this contingent, if they like something, sometimes shows enviable perseverance and perseverance, revolving around the same thing for a long time, not wanting to leave the “topic” in any way - who have not read the same one a hundred times the book, closing and immediately opening it again, let the first one throw a stone at me (do not be shy, I’ll dodge it, get the hang of it, and then I’ll pick it up dexterously and send it back))
In general, the grumbler can be turned off and move on.

Part two (practical).
(brevity is the sister of talent - I try to ask for relatives, although I'm afraid that it doesn't shine))
The structure of the book is as follows:
Several introductory spreads - from the authors (message to posterity)), what is useful in the kitchen (we collect dishes according to the list), the preparation process (we wash our hands, we tie an apron, we understand what will not be possible in the process and choose products), we learn to measure, etc. tricks ( welcome to a simple culinary dictionary!)
1) recipes for spread and more: on the left the picture is the bait of a tasty treat, on the right everything is like in adults - ingredients, the process is step-by-step, then excerpts from “Zoks and Bada” and “School of Zoks and Bada” can follow (everything is in the subject, not by chance) ,
2) the recipes are simple, they contain nothing that cannot be obtained in a regular store,
3) everything is stated clearly and accessible for a child (from 4 years old).

Part 3
I see here:
a) an occasion for spending time together with interest and benefit.
After all, contact and joint activity (relatively speaking - on an equal footing, and not when it is typical: an adult is a child, one teaches, the second listens) oh, how necessary!
b) hitherto in mother's territory - the kitchen.
When everything is serious, like adults. And even with their own cookbook (and how children love everything to be like adults, only in miniature and kind of not forgetting about the game, we remember this from our childhood)).
c) an excellent basis for both the FIRST culinary experience (together with adults) and further independent investigation, when the adult's control is minimal - after all, there is only one recipe scheme (here are the rules of the culinary game, the main thing is to learn them). It is easiest to start learning with salads and sweets. But if, as a rule, no one has problems with the first ones (just think - cut a salad), then it’s more difficult with the second ones (there is dough, if not baking yet, then it’s still some kind of sweet mass, from which something will be - getting smarter))

And, of course, the quality of the publication!
A book (any book, especially a book for children), in my understanding, should be well published so that in the age of digital technology it will be allowed into the house (occupy space)).
And here, without pretensions - a solid, smooth hardcover (without unnecessary cookbook textures and embellishments), good dense offset, readable font (due to the large line spacing) and for a (after all, a cookery!) book it’s quite. Color cute illustrations by Elena Kubysheva.

P.S. Already enthusiastically created (and even more eaten): orange donuts, baked apples with spices (umm, cinnamon is especially good in winter), honey truffles.

I ran out into the yard, and there a hole was dug and the Zoks were sitting at the bottom, huddled together. I pulled them out of the badalovka, I ask them, and they scold the book:

This pleasant reading for the Zoks turned out to be very useful for me, because it prompted a little trick. noticing that the Zoks' cough was relieved by the mere sight of the bitter mixture, I realized how I could further improve their health. Having written a cheat sheet with a list of the most annoying "diseases" of my Zoks, I composed a recipe for each of them and, by the way, read it to the Zoks at night. This is what I got:

- In the event of a fight, put mustard plasters on bruises and fists.

- From greed - the most greedy swallow the smallest sweet pills.

- From name-calling to chew sticky bitter toffee.

- From laziness to accept sweets wrapped in forty wrappers.

- And from deception - to gnaw empty nuts inside ...

When I finished reading my list of prescriptions, Zoki at first fell silent, then began to carefully find out what was prescribed for someone who did not want or was afraid to be treated.

I had to add “injections for cowards” to the list, and prescribed strict bed rest for patients with any hooliganism. The Zoks, who by that time were already tired of sitting in the infirmary to death and wanted to run around, promised in unison never to mischief again and fled. And I decided that a first-aid kit in the house would not hurt, and took up medicines. True, the tablets that I made sweat for these recipes were mixed up in a jar. So the miraculous remedy "badalgin" appeared in my medicine cabinet, which helps from everything:

The tool is so useful that I myself sometimes take a couple of pieces from chagrin, from annoyance and from Zok. And the Zoks, in order to get the right pill, now honestly tell me about their antics.

However, they did not blunder, but demanded that I, following my example, bake medicinal cheesecakes with blueberries and pies with recipes. And I, inspired by the first successes, wrote down the recipes in my book and continued slyly

Raising Zokov by example.

After much thought, I finally figured out how to ward off Zokov from honey, and decided on a new experiment. Having locked myself in the honey storage, I wrote “pepper”, “mustard”, “onion jam”, “garlic compote” on jars of honey all evening. Having finished my useful work, I sat down, pleased with myself, waiting for the Zoks, left without honey, to ask for mercy. And at least they eat and eat. I could not stand it and ran up to them: you, I say, realize what you are eating ?! And I show you the label. It says "mustard" right there! “Oh, what a horror! - they shout. - Why didn’t you tell us before, we don’t know how to read. We have one Alyonushka literate, so he always reads your book while eating, he is not distracted.
