Ingredients:

butter or milk margarine- 150 grams;

chicken eggs- 3 pieces;

sugar or powdered sugar - 1 glass;

wheat flour - 1.5 cups;

Rinse the eggs in water and crack them into a bowl. Immediately separate the whites from the yolks. The whites will go into the filling, and the yolks into the dough.

Heat a mixture of milk, margarine, a spoonful of salt and sugar (2 tablespoons) in a saucepan. Add egg yolks and dry yeast. Stir and add some of the flour. While kneading the dough, gradually add all the flour to it. Then leave the lump on the table under a towel or film for an hour.

Roast the walnuts in a dry frying pan and remove the dark film. Then grind white clean kernels in a blender to crumbs.

The recipe is remotely similar to the traditional Bulgarian pie bannitsa. But the molding of the dough will be used the usual - two layers of dough, filling between them.

Ingredients:

  • 820 g wheat flour (s / w);
  • 260 g soft cottage cheese;
  • 5 st. l. fat sour cream;
  • a spoonful of milk;
  • ¼ tsp citric acid;
  • 50 ml butter;
  • 210 g cherry jam (pitted).

How to cook

Grind milk thoroughly with cottage cheese, add sour cream and citric acid. The latter should dissolve. Then add portions of the flour sifted in advance. The dough should come out thick and soft. Put the lump under the film on the table for half an hour to stand and ripen.

Divide the dough into two parts. Both roll into layers according to the diameter of a round shape. You can also take a square baking sheet - this remains at the choice of the hostess. Lubricate the mold with butter - use 5-10 g of butter.

Lay out the first layer in the form - form the sides. Spread jam in them. If you have liquid jam, you can strain it through a sieve and then only berries will remain. Cover with a second layer and secure the sides. You can decorate them figuratively - twist with a pigtail or something else.

Melt remaining butter and pour over cake. Make small cuts in the center or along the edges with a knife - to release steam. Without them, the cake will burst and the filling will leak out.

Put the workpiece to bake at 180-200˚С.
