Yeast dough for pies

50g fresh yeast(1/2 pack)
1.5 cups milk milk (300 ml)
150 g margarine
4 cups flour (cup=200ml)
2 eggs (1 piece goes to the dough and 1 to grease the pies)
4 tablespoons of sugar (no slide!)
½ teaspoon salt

- 3.5 cups flour
- 1.5 tsp dry yeast,
- 1 glass of water (250 grams)
- 100 grams of margarine for baking,
- 1 egg,
- ½ tsp salt,

- 1 onion,
- salt to taste,

To prepare the dough, slightly warm the water, pour dry yeast into it, stir with a spoon.




Pour sugar, then a spoonful of flour. Leave to rise in a warm place so that the dough turns into bubbles.




Then pour in the melted but cooled margarine, chicken egg and a little salt at once. Stir in the liquid part of the dough.




Finally, pour in all the remaining flour, stir so that the dough does not stick strongly to your hands. Then leave it for 30-40 minutes so that the yeast becomes more active and the dough rises. Doubled dough is ready for pies. Look at this one too.






While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. Finely chop the mushrooms along with onions and fry these two components in vegetable oil. Taste for salt so that the filling is moderately salty. Remove the fried mushrooms from the stove. The filling is ready. Just chill her.

Add yeast, sugar and salt to the milk, mix and let it brew for 10-15 minutes until the yeast is completely dissolved. Add one glass of flour, the dough is liquid. Dough Ingredients:

  • Kefir - 1 glass,
  • Yeast - 40 gr.,
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon,
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp. a spoon,
  • Sunflower oil - 4 tbsp. spoons,
  • Flour - 2-2.5 cups.

Filling Ingredients:

  • Onion - 1 pc.,
  • Champignons - 400 gr.,
  • Bay leaf - optional
  • Vegetable oil,
  • Salt and black ground pepper- taste

Fried pies with mushrooms - recipe

In a deep bowl, in which it will be convenient to knead the dough, pour kefir.

Since we will have a yeast dough, in order for it to rise, before adding yeast, kefir must be allowed to warm to room temperature. In order not to waste time and not to wait a long time, pour kefir from the refrigerator into a glass and put in the microwave for 1-2 minutes. Crumble yeast into a bowl with kefir.

Pour in right amount sugar and salt.

Pour refined sunflower oil into the dough.

Mix all the dough ingredients with a whisk until smooth.

It remains to add to the dough wheat flour. Sift flour and add in small portions into the dough.

Knead the dough with your hands. Leave it for one hour for it to fit properly.

While the dough is rising, prepare the pie filling. For the filling, we will use champignons - wonderful mushrooms for cooking many quick mushroom dishes. Peel and finely chop the onion.

Rinse mushrooms under cold water. Cut them into small pieces with a knife.

Try to cut the mushrooms and not too finely, given that during frying they decrease significantly in volume. Fry the onion in vegetable oil.

Put out the mushrooms. Salt and pepper them. If desired, you can also add a bay leaf to them.

Saute mushrooms with onions for 10 minutes over low heat. During frying, be sure to stir the mushrooms.

Transfer the mushroom filling for pies to a plate and let it cool. Roll the dough into a ball the size of a large plum. Flatten it between your palms. Form into a loaf shape with your fingers. Put a tablespoon of fried mushrooms.

Fold the edges of the cake together and pinch tightly. You can walk to one side and the other. Give the pie itself an oval shape.

Heat up a frying pan with oil. To get fried and ruddy pies, there must be at least 2 cm of vegetable oil in the pan. On the hot pan put the pies next to each other.

Fry them for 2-3 minutes on each side.
