Pry the fillet with your finger from the side of the spine and carefully tear it off, pressing your finger against the bones so that there is no fillet left on them.   • 1 large beet;
  • 1 slightly salted herring;
  • 2 carrots;
  • 3 chicken eggs;
  • 2 onions;
  • 3 potatoes;
  • 1 glass of mayonnaise;
  • salt.

How we cook:

  1. Boil beets, potatoes and carrots until tender. Separately, set to boil the eggs (10 minutes).
  2. Finely chop the onion and pour boiling water over it.
  3. We cut the herring: remove the skin, separate from the ridge and take out the bones. Cut as small as possible and set aside.

Boil the beets in a saucepan for 1-2 hours (depending on the variety and size of the beets). Cool down.

Boil potatoes and carrots in salted water for 30-40 minutes (the knife should easily pierce vegetables). Cool down.

Boil the eggs for 10 minutes from the moment of boiling. Cool by pouring cold water.

We split the herring.
Cut off the head of the herring, cut along the belly, clean out the insides.
Rinse the herring thoroughly inside and out.
