Is it possible to lose weight on soups? I asked myself this question for a long time, since the topic of losing weight is very close to me, I almost always strive for a slender figure, which I just don’t want to have, there is always at least a couple of extra pounds. How to eat so as not to gain weight, but also to lose weight? Many people advise me to eat soups. Is it really possible to lose weight with their help and how? I agree that soups are very tasty and, as a dish, each soup is unique in its own way - there are hot and cold soup, but each of them is tasty and satisfying in its own way.

It is nutritious, as it contains several ingredients, as well as a lot of usefulness and vitamins, for example, the well-known borscht - it perfectly increases hemoglobin, therefore doctors very often recommend it in the patient's diet, but again, borscht borscht is different. There are very high-calorie borscht, in which there will be 120 calories in a hundred grams, there are those that in 100 grams will have a total of 30 calories, therefore it is impossible to equal them all under the same number of calories! And therefore, to lose weight on soups or borscht, as for me, you can, but you need to choose low-calorie soups that are not cooked on fatty meat. and generally do not contain it.

Borscht calories

Mushroom borsch is considered the lowest calorie, but the highest calorie one is Moscow borscht, there are numbers, it looks like this -

In principle, it is very possible to lose weight on soups, but their calorie content should be minimal, and therefore they are cooked either in the second broth, or in vegetable broth and without potatoes, and vegetables are not fried before they get into the soup, and salt should be thrown in a minimum amount, but instead spices are used that help burn fat. Such spices include chili peppers and ginger, curry and turmeric, garlic, etc. To lose weight on soup, you need it several times a day, and soup diets generally involve mono-nutrition - that is, soup for weight loss 3-5 times in a day. At the same time, this water in the soup is not considered a drink, in addition to such soups, pure water and the body cleansing toxins are drunk. green tea no added sugar. With such soup days, you can lose 5-8 kg in a week.

The calorie content of soups, of course, is also different, like that of bosch. It all depends on the broth on which the soup is cooked, whether it is just water, or chicken bouillon- the difference is huge, but we are not talking about pork at all, since pork soup is already considered a non-dietary dish, it is very high-calorie and fatty! The calorie content of the soup also depends on how the ingredients are processed, which are then boiled in the soup - either they are fried in oil initially, or they are put into the water in their raw form.

The calorie content of soup, for example, pea soup, is 66 kcal per 100 g, but soup made from fresh, just plucked green peas is 57 kcal per 100 g, as you can see, the difference is significant, I give an additional table of calorie content of soups to make it clearer.

Now, separately about everyone's favorite pickle - The calorie content of pickle is about 46 kcal per 100 g. This is very small compared to the same Moscow borscht, so you can safely use it specifically for weight loss and unloading days. And what? Rather than sitting on yogurt alone, from which on the fifth day it already starts to feel sick from the mere sight, it’s better to cook pickle for yourself, right? However, how much useful does it contain? After all, all the components of pickle are nutritious and healthy in their own way.

Who doesn't love brine? Although there are some, there is still no comrade for taste and color, so for those who still love hodgepodge, I inform you that the calorie content of this dish is only 43 calories, this applies to mushrooms, but some types of hodgepodge can drag on a high-calorie dish - see the table below and choose, and most importantly - eat right so that the body does not experience a deficiency, and the metabolism does not worsen!

This is the first dish for meat eaters. But, a real rich meat hodgepodge is not very diet dish. Let's just say, on a low-carb diet a large number of fats are forgiven, but from the point of view of usefulness for the body, there should not be a lot of animal fats, a lot of vegetable fats can be.

I cook food with such troubles that at the right time I twist my finger at my temple. Sometimes I'm embarrassed to show how meticulously I pick products. Only those who count calories in each spoon will understand me, well, let there be a recipe for such.

Products

  • Pork tenderloin - 200 g
  • Sausages only 200 g:
    • Milk sausage - 50 g
    • Low-fat ham - 50 g
    • Beef sausage - 50 g
    • Servelat granular - 50 g
  • Onion - 70 g
  • Olives - 70 g
  • Potato - 250
  • Pickled cucumbers - 150 g
  • Olive oil - 5 g
  • Spices for soup (pepper, bay leaf)
  • Lemon

How to cook salty

  1. I clean the pork tenderloin from films and fat, which are always on it (and here the hungry dog licks its lips).
  2. I pour half a pot of water into a 1.5 liter saucepan and put it on fire along with the meat.
  3. At this time, I peel onions and potatoes.
  4. I chop onions, potatoes and cucumbers with a shredder, everything is equally fine: straws 3-4 mm thick.
  5. Onion pass on dessert spoon olive oil.
  6. When the water with meat boils, I remove the foam and immediately put all the vegetables into the soup.
  7. Sausages I also cut into strips and set aside.
  8. I melt fat from smoked sausage. Servelat is initially distressingly fat! But so delicious...

To do this, I cut the sausage into rings, put it on napkins and put it in the microwave. The time depends on the power, but approximately 30-45 seconds. You can hear how the sausage starts to "shoot".

I take it out and blot it with paper towels. If you need another 5-10 seconds in the microwave. As a result, out of 50 g of servelat, 35 g remains. Therefore, I recalculate the fat content of servelat! Of course, all the fat cannot be rendered, and it’s okay, smoked sausage definitely gives the soup a taste!

  9. I cut olives into rings.
  10. After boiling and throwing vegetables into the soup, I cook for exactly 20 minutes. After I start all the sausages, cut into strips and olives.
  11. Add water to the top of the pot (if needed).
  12. I add bay leaf, salt and spices to taste.
  13. I continue to cook the soup for another 5 minutes and turn it off.
  14. I pour the finished soup into bowls, add a circle of lemon. Can be served with fresh herbs and grain bread.

The soup is very thick, and, as you can see, with potatoes. Potatoes in traditional recipe Solyanka is not added, but with it the soup is more satisfying. There is only a little less than a liter of water in the soup. I chose sausage products on purpose - with the same nutritional value, everything except smoked sausage. There were a lot of them on the counter, and there were sausages and ham with the same KBJU.

Solyanka meat, the nutritional value.

If you follow your figure and carefully control your weight, then a hodgepodge containing a large amount of high-calorie meat products, is unlikely to become your main dish in the midst of a busy day. It turns out that you can change its calorie content and make the dish more useful for the body and not so harmful to the figure.

History of appearance

It will not surprise anyone that hodgepodge belongs to the category of high-calorie dishes. This soup appeared around the 15th century in Russia. Traditionally, it was served as an appetizer with spirits. Rich meat broth with sour-salty taste perfectly warmed and satisfied hunger. But he practically did not meet on the tables of the nobles. Such a simple stew they considered a dish unworthy of their table.

Then, of course, no one thought about how many calories in a hodgepodge. But today, in the era of advanced medicine and fashion for proper nutrition people pay much more attention to their own health. Therefore, it will be useful to know how the different types hodgepodge from each other and what is their calorie content.

Meat hodgepodge

Classical, meat type This soup contains several types of meat delicacies. Among them you can find boiled beef, ham, boiled sausage, smoked chicken. Sometimes they even add kidneys. The vegetable component of the hodgepodge is much less caloric and includes potatoes, carrots, olives, pickles and onions. At the same time, do not forget that salt retains water in the body, which means it slows down the process of metabolism and the processing of calories after eating.

Adding all these ingredients (given that a 3 liter pan of each deli meat will need about 100 g), we will find out how many calories are in meat hodgepodge. Approximately 76 kcal comes out per 100 g of soup, and a plate of the first course is approximately 300 g. So, after eating a portion of hodgepodge, you will consume about 230 kcal.

fish alternative

If you prefer not to eat meat or you are simply not satisfied with the energy value of meat soup, you can also cook hodgepodge in fish broth. Its taste and aroma, of course, will be somewhat different from classic version. But this dish also has many fans. Selecting a few different varieties fish and adding to them the same vegetables as in a regular hodgepodge, you will get a soup with a calorie content of only 25 units per 100 g finished product. It is not difficult now to calculate the required number, given the size of your daily portion of the first course.

It does not matter what kind of fish you choose. Both river and sea, it has a much smaller energy value than pork or beef. You can diversify such a hodgepodge by adding other seafood to it. For example, squid, shrimp, mussels or even crayfish. They will make the soup even more aromatic, but will not affect its calorie content.

With mushroom flavor

You can even cook a dietary hodgepodge in vegetable broth. The necessary salinity and acidity will appear in the dish after you add the roast, which contains cucumbers and tomato paste. The presence of mushrooms, which go well with vegetable soups. Aromatic herbs and spices, which have a very low energy value, will also help add zest.

For 100 g of the first dish of vegetables with mushrooms, there are only 20 kcal, which means that for the entire portion - about 60. The difference between how many calories are in a hodgepodge with sausage, and how many in a vegetable one becomes obvious.

Many will say that without smoked meats and rich meat broth This soup can not be called hodgepodge. But in pursuit of an ideal figure, it is always necessary to make some sacrifices and think about how many calories are in a hodgepodge. Therefore, such a first course may turn out to be a worthy replacement, favorably differing in low calorie content from the original recipe.

The history of hodgepodge goes back to the distant Russian times of the 15th century. Such a spicy, fatty soup with rich taste served as an appetizer for strong alcoholic drinks. At that time, such a soup had a second name "hangover". Such a dish was considered the food of commoners. The nobles considered this dish unworthy of their table.

In modern cooking, hodgepodge is a favorite dish of most people. This thick soup, cooked on rich fish, meat or mushroom broth with the addition of various spices has many ways of cooking. Regardless of the type of hodgepodge, it taste qualities characterized by a pronounced spicy, spicy and sour-salty taste.

Meat sauce recipe

  • First, prepare the meat for the hodgepodge. Rinse half of the beef and cut into thin slices. The other half - straws. Cut the chicken and smoked meat into strips or just small pieces.
  • Now vegetables: cut the cucumbers into strips, the onion into rings (if the onion is medium in size, then it can be half rings). By the way, if you do not use tomato paste, but fresh tomatoes, then remove the peel and grind them in a blender to a paste-like state.
  • Heat a deep frying pan, pour in olive oil, fry the first half of the beef. You don't need to fry it too hard. Then add the chicken, also lightly fry everything together. Now you can add the onion. Important: remember that onions with meat should be sautéed, not fried. Do not stop stirring, the onion should not burn, it should become transparent, not golden. Then turn tomato paste(in my case chopped tomatoes). Mix everything.
  • Again: do not let the roast burn, reduce the fire, stir constantly. Let the excess liquid evaporate, but no more. Now you can add the pickles and the rest of the chopped beef. Immediately fill the contents of the pan with one and a half liters of water, add the remaining smoked meats to it.
  • Reduce the heat, let the hodgepodge boil for about 30 minutes. At the end, you can already add spices, chopped herbs and olives, cut into rings. By the way, you can add olives just before serving. Let the hodgepodge then brew for another 15 minutes. Serve with lemon slices, sour cream.
