  • oregano, thyme - 1/3 tsp each;
  • nutmeg (ground) - a pinch;
  • sunflower oil (refined) - 3-4 tbsp. l.

    Cut the meat into medium sized pieces. Cut the peeled onion into 4 pieces.

    Grind the meat into minced meat in any way convenient for you: using a meat grinder, food processor or blender. Add all spices.

    The onion can be chopped with the meat or twisted after it to push through the rest of the minced meat. Add in the beaten egg and onion.

    Stir until you get a homogeneous minced meat. At the very end, add salt. Place minced meat in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.

    Make flat cakes from minced meat, put a piece of cheese in the center of each. Put a little minced meat on top of the cheese, roll up round cutlets. Press them down lightly to make them even.

    Pour breadcrumbs into a deep bowl, roll cutlets in them on all sides. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.

  5. Add a chicken egg, ground black pepper, salt, as well as a third of a teaspoon of thyme and ground paprika to the minced meat.
  6. Let's start kneading minced meat. Everything needs to be thoroughly mixed with clean hands dipped in hot water, achieving greater viscosity and ductility from the minced meat. It is also very important to beat the minced meat, for this you need to tear off a lump the size of a chicken egg and throw it back into the bowl from a distance of 30 cm. This will give the minced meat a more elastic and soft texture.
  7. As soon as you make sure that all the ingredients are mixed evenly and the minced meat itself has become softer, you can start forming cutlets. We tear off a lump of minced meat and roll it out on our palms. In the center of the minced meat, you need to put a cube of butter, and a cube of cheese on the butter. After that, we “collect” the minced meat, enveloping it with butter and cheese, leaving the top with cheese open.

  8. We turn on the oven, set 180-200 degrees and cover the baking sheet with foil or baking paper.
  9. We bread our cutlets in breadcrumbs, and then put them on a baking sheet.
  10. We send the cutlets to bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes. It is advisable to ensure that the open cheese does not burn.
