  • 1/5 white loaf
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 bulb

First of all, we decide on the basis for any cutlets - with meat. Pork, beef, turkey and even chicken (or a mixture of two or three types of meat) will do. I had a piece of pork weighing 800 g, from which I prepared minced meat.

We put chopped meat into a large container in which further preparations will take place.


Soak about a fifth of the white loaf in milk. We do it like this: Put in a deep plate whole piece loaf or break it into smaller parts. Then add half a glass of milk to the plate and wait 5 minutes. During this time, the loaf will absorb all the milk and soften.


We clean the onion and chop it very finely or chop in a blender. The finer the onion is chopped, the tastier the meatballs will be.


Add a softened piece of loaf, onion, salt and pepper to the minced meat in a bowl.


Thoroughly knead the minced meat with your hands and leave it in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes. Thanks to this standing, the minced meat becomes more sticky and it will be easier to sculpt cutlets.


In the meantime, prepare the cheese. Cut any hard cheese (piece weight approximately 100-120-150 g) into cubes or rub on a coarse grater, as you prefer.


We take minced meat from the refrigerator. Pour breadcrumbs into a separate deep plate. With the help of a spoon, we collect a portion of minced meat, which we put in a plate with breadcrumbs.


Flatten the minced meat with your hand into a cake, in the center of which we put a portion of cheese.


It remains only to carefully take the cake with cheese in the palm of your hand and fasten the edges. Then we roll the cutlet blank in breadcrumbs on all sides and put it on the prepared board.


The board is still full raw meatballs with cheese filling. The last three cutlets with dents are the ones that didn't have enough cheese. I labeled them that way.


Well, we proceed to the last stage of cooking meatballs stuffed with cheese - to fry. We warm the pan well (otherwise the cutlets will stick to its surface) and add a little sunflower oil(3-4 tablespoons).
