Coho salmon recipe in the oven with potatoes

Very convenient, beautiful, portioned serving of fish steaks or fillet pieces.

Thanks to the foil, the fish is obtained in own juice, which is also impregnated with potatoes. Immediately we get fish with a side dish! Very tasty!

You will need:

  • 0.5-0.7 kg. - fish
  • 8-9 pcs. – small
  • 3-4 st. spoons - sour cream
  • Salt, ground black pepper, various spices - to taste

How to cook:

1. Cut the prepared carcass into steaks 2.5-3 cm thick.

2. Peel the potatoes, cut into 0.5 cm slices, divide by the number of steaks.

3. Put potatoes on the bottom of each sheet of foil, then a piece of fish, salt and pepper everything, brush with sour cream, cover with foil and wrap the edges tightly. You can make it in the form of boats or envelopes, whichever you prefer!

4. Transfer all our envelopes to a baking sheet, send to the oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees, then slightly open the foil and put it for another 20 minutes. You can sprinkle more grated cheese on top, it will be tastier!

How to pickle coho salmon at home

Such low-salted coho salmon is well suited for making sandwiches.

You will need:

  • 1 kg. - fillet
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of salt
  • 2 teaspoons - sugar
  • A few pieces of bay leaves and peppercorns

How to cook:

Cut the fillet into small pieces, grate with a mixture of salt and sugar, put in a glass bowl, add bay leaves, pepper, cover or press down with a plate, put in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.

Fried salmon in a pan

You will need:

  • 3-4 pcs. – steaks
  • Salt, pepper - to taste
  • Lemon juice - to taste

How to cook:

1. Salt, pepper each steak, you can grate with any fish spices.

2. Fry in a pan on both sides for 4-7 minutes each.

3. Sprinkle the finished fish with lemon juice.

Note to the owner! Fish can be pre-marinated in soy sauce, and if you wake up to fry on the grill, then it can be watered with beer or white wine. The result is completely different, the taste of the fish itself goes away, but a completely new one appears.
