The filling can be the most diverse, suitable for both snacks and holiday tables, salty or sweet. In any case, whichever option you choose, as you know, it will turn out insanely delicious!
I propose to cook puffs with sausage and cheese, tender and appetizing, with a golden crispy crust! Such puffs will be good for breakfast with morning tea, for the arrival of unexpected guests, or just be a great option for a snack during the day.
I have dough in a pack in the form of two layers. Take the dough out ahead of time and defrost room temperature.

Then roll out each piece of dough on a floured surface with a rolling pin in one direction.

Divide the dough into equal strips. From one layer I got 6 pcs. We do the same with the second part of the test.

Recently, I posted a recipe for cheese sticks. Crispy, spicy, salty - they are great as a beer snack. Today I want to share a similar recipe for cheese puffs, so to speak, more classic. It's very simple and quick recipe cooking puffs for those who love . The puffs are very tender and just melt in your mouth. You can prepare puffs in both large and small sizes for use as a snack. We will bake puff pastry from ready-made purchased puff pastry, which, if desired, can be prepared independently. It's easy to cook, and it turns out very tasty and beautiful.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of purchased puff pastry;
  • 200 g hard cheese;
  • 1 egg;
  • 2 tbsp white or black sesame seeds;
  • a pinch of salt and pepper.

Cheese puff recipe

1. We completely defrost the purchased dough, leaving it in a warm place in the kitchen for 40-60 minutes. Then soft elastic dough Roll out lightly on a floured surface. We try to keep the rectangular shape of the dough.

2. Rub the cheese on a coarse grater.

3. Break the egg into a deep bowl and beat with a mixer into foam.

4. Lubricate the dough with an egg using a culinary brush.

5. Cut the dough rectangle into 2 approximately identical parts. Because the purchased dough fresh, it should be slightly salted and peppered. On top of 1 part, spread the cheese in an even, not very dense layer.

6. Gently cover the part of the dough with cheese with the part of the dough without cheese. It's okay if cheese peeks out somewhere. Lightly roll out the resulting layer.

7. Again cut into 2 parts.

8. Lubricate one part with an egg and evenly spread the other part of the puff pastry with cheese on it. Roll out a little and press down so that the layers are fastened together.

9. Cut into identical rectangles.

10. Spread on covered parchment paper baking sheet, slightly trimming the edges.

11. Top with the remaining egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

12. We heat the oven to 180 degrees, then put a baking sheet with puffs into it. Bake for 20 minutes.

Puffs can be removed while they are hot, or you can let them cool. Here already on the fan.

You will need ready-made puff pastry (yeast-free). It is advisable to buy already sheet, it does not need to be rolled out. For the filling, take a piece of hard cheese and the same amount of Adyghe - in the mix they will give more bright taste than if you only used one type of cheese. I advise gourmets to rub parmesan, cheddar or emmental, however, you can buy the usual "Russian" or "Kostroma" cheese. It melts nicely and is soft. Adyghe cheese will make the filling more tender and fragrant, the pie will look like khachapuri. For a change, you can add chopped dill to the filling, it will also be delicious.

Ingredients

  • yeast-free puff pastry - 500 g
  • flour - 2-3 tbsp. l. for dusting
  • hard cheese - 150 g
  • Adyghe cheese - 150 g
  • chicken egg - 1 pc. for lubrication
  • sesame - 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking

    The finished puff pastry must first be thawed - you can in the refrigerator or at room temperature, if you are in a hurry. In the latter case, I recommend laying out the dough on a board sprinkled with flour, and so that it does not wind on top, cover cling film. In this form, it will defrost for about 1 hour if the kitchen is warm. I use sheet dough, it is already completely ready for shaping and baking, no need to roll out. If you have too thick a layer of dough, then you can walk a little with a rolling pin, but be sure to roll it in one direction - from the center to the edges, “toward” and “away from you”. The thickness of the dough should be approximately 3-4 mm. We cut the dough layer with a knife into squares of about 10x10 cm. In total, 8 or 10 pieces will be obtained, depending on the thickness of the rolling.

    Turn on the oven to heat up to 200 degrees. At the same time we are preparing cheese filling. To do this, grind hard and Adyghe cheese on a coarse grater, mix. Salt is not needed. We divide the cheese mass into 8-10 parts and roll each into a ball (it is more convenient to lay out the filling, it does not interfere with pinching the edges of the dough).

    Place a cheese ball in the center of each square.

    In a bowl, crack the egg and use a culinary brush to circle the edges of the squares for better bonding. Then we fold them into triangles, pinch them.

    So that the filling does not leak out, but is securely held inside the pies, we pass along the edge with a fork. If it sticks to the dough, then dip in flour, this will solve the problem.

    Put the formed puffs with cheese on a baking sheet at a certain distance from each other. You can line it with parchment (dry) if you like, but this is not required. There is no need to lubricate with oil, because puff pastry contains a sufficient amount of fat in its composition. To make the pies turn rosy, do not forget to grease them with the remaining egg on top. For beauty, you can sprinkle with sesame seeds.

    We send the baking sheet to the hot oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 200 degrees. Readiness is determined visually, the surface of the pies should become ruddy and golden.

Today I offer you a very simple recipe for cheese puffs, and the dough can be used both yeast puff and yeast-free. They are prepared very quickly and so simply that cheese puffs can be attributed to almost everyday baking. They are perfect for breakfast, and for a quick and satisfying snack, they can also be served on light dinner and great to take with you on the road or on a picnic. The type of cheese you use in this pastry can be absolutely anything, choose the one you like or the one you have on hand. I want to note that the most delicious puffs, when they are just out of the oven, are incredibly fragrant, tender, crispy and very appetizing.

Ingredients:

  • package of frozen puff pastry 400 – 500 gr
  • hard cheese of any kind 150 - 200 gr
  • 1 a raw egg to lubricate the top

Cooking method

Defrost the puff pastry according to the instructions on the package, roll it out slightly in one direction and cut into rectangles, you choose the size of the puffs yourself. We visually divide our piece into two parts and on one side we make small cuts with a knife.

I usually do not grate the cheese, but simply cut it into thin small slices.

We spread 2 - 3 cheese plates on the whole part of the future puff,

cover and seal the edges well with a fork.

It remains for us to put them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, grease the top with a loosened raw egg.

Puff pastry puffs are a delicious snack for tea. Puffs with sweet and savory filling can become not only a hearty snack on the road, at work or school, but also an excellent delicious breakfast or dinner for the whole family.   • 200 gr margarine;
  • 2 eggs for dough and 1 for greasing puffs;

  • 1 stack thick sour cream;
  • sugar;
  • 1 tsp lemon juice.

First, melt the margarine in a steam bath. You can also chop with a blender along with flour.

Beat eggs in a blender until light egg mass. Gradually sift flour to them, spread sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Lastly add margarine.

Knead the dough. Cut into equal 20 pieces. We put it on a plate and send it to the refrigerator for an hour, or to the freezer for a quarter of an hour.

  • puff pastry packaging - 500 gr;
  • granular cottage cheese - 300 gr;
  • sugar - 2 table. l.;
  • egg for stuffing and egg for greasing.

Defrost the dough ahead of time. When it becomes slightly soft and starts to fit a little, it is ready to use. Spread the defrosted dough on the table.

Prepare the filling: combine the egg with cottage cheese and cheese. Wipe with a fork. If desired, you can add a little vanilla.

Roll out the dough and cut into rectangles. Put a couple of tablespoons of filling on one half of a piece of dough, cover the other half and pinch the edges so that the filling does not leak out. Top with beaten egg. Bake at a temperature of 190-200 degrees. within a third of an hour.

On a note. If you beat the filling with a blender, the consistency will be more homogeneous and tender.

Crispy puffs without filling

  • yeast-free puff pastry - 500 gr;
  • a handful of flour for rolling out the dough;
  • powdered sugar;
  • egg.

Leave the finished dough in advance at room temperature so that it thaws. After thinly roll it out, sprinkling the work surface with flour before that. Cut the dough into squares and ribbons. Rotate the squares so that you get "bows" by turning the half in the center. Tie the strips into braids. Put everything on the prepared baking sheet, and according to the classics, grease with a beaten egg. Bake for 15 minutes.

With meat

  • yeast puff pastry - 600 gr;
  • minced pork - 300 gr;
  • bow - 1 unit;
  • eggs - 2 units;
  • salt, pepper, suneli hops.

Roll out the dough, cut into squares. Minced meat mixed with one egg, salt and pepper, add a little herbs, chopped onion. Mix everything well, fry for about ten minutes in oil, stirring constantly to make the filling crumbly.

Divide the filling into the dough squares. Fold so that you get envelopes, make a few holes on top with a toothpick so that steam comes out of the baking. Bake at 180 degrees. within half an hour.

with cherry

  • a glass of cherry berries;
  • 4 tablespoons of starch;
  • ¾ stack. Sahara;
  • egg yolk;
  • sheet of puff pastry.

It is necessary to prepare the cherry in advance: rinse and remove the seeds from it.

Next, roll out the dough, cut into squares. Put a tea in the center of each square. a spoonful of starch, which will absorb the juice of the berries and prevent the puff from sticking during baking. How to cook with chocolate?

A very easy way to make quick sweet puffs is with chocolate. This recipe is suitable if guests are already in a hurry to visit you, but you do not know what to offer for tea.

  • 500 g of puff pastry without yeast;
  • egg;
  • 2 chocolate bars.

In standard packing ready dough usually there are two layers of dough. And this is very handy if you want to please guests not simple dessert, and baking with different stuffing. We propose to turn one layer into a puff with dark chocolate, and the second - with milk, filled with raisins and nuts. You can replace the options with your favorites if you wish.

So, you need to start by rolling out the dough. The layer in this case does not need to be cut, in the future it will be possible to cut into pieces ready puff. The sheet should retain the corners and be twice the size of the chocolate bar. We put a tile in the center and with a knife we ​​make parallel oblique cuts along the remaining protruding edges of the dough. Repeat the same with the remaining dough and the second chocolate bar.

On a note. Banana goes well with chocolate. It can also be cut into strips and placed under the chocolate bar while assembling the puff.

Puff pastry with mushrooms

  • mushrooms - 400 gr;
  • puff. dough - 500 gr;
  • dill - a bunch;
  • bow - 1 unit;
  • boiled potatoes - 3 units;
  • cheese is hard. - 100 gr;
  • eggs - 2 units;
  • salt, oil, pepper.

First, prepare the filling: wash the mushrooms, cut into slices and fry in oil, over high heat. In the meantime, cut the onion into quarters. When the liquid evaporates from the mushrooms, put an onion to them, if desired, you can add a spoonful of plums to give tenderness and aroma. oils. We fry everything together, stirring occasionally, salt. Remove from heat after the onions and mushrooms become a delicious yellowish hue.

We wash the greens, pat dry with a paper towel, chop finely. Cut boiled potatoes into cubes.

With chicken

  • 500-600 gr of homemade or purchased puff pastry;
  • 2 halves chicken breast without bone and skin;
  • 2 medium potatoes;
  • 1 small onion.

Rinse the breast and cut into small cubes, similar in size to pieces of vegetables.

Roll out the dough and cut into rectangles about 10 cm long and 20 cm wide. We spread the filling on one half, leaving the edges free. We pinch. We pierce the top in several places with a fork so that the steam comes out, and the pastry does not turn out to be wet inside. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 200 degrees.

With ham and cheese

  • egg;
  • 300 gr ham;
  • 200 gr hard. cheese;
  • 500 gr of dough.

We cut the ham into strips, three cheese on a grater. Roll out the dough and cut into rectangles. Put ham on one half, sprinkle with cheese. On the second half, we make small longitudinal cuts in the center. We cover the filling with the second half of the dough and pinch the edges. Brush pastry with beaten egg.

Unsweetened puffs with sorrel and cottage cheese

  • banana - 1 unit;

  • chocolate paste - 100-150 gr;

Sugar puffs are also called puff tongues.

  • 500 gr puff. test;
  • 50 grams of sugar;
  • 50 ml of strongly brewed black tea (can be replaced with yolk).

The preparation is very simple: the dough is slightly defrosted, rolled out to a thickness of approximately 7 mm. Cut into strips approximately 4-5 cm wide. They are laid out on a baking sheet, smeared with tea and sprinkled with sugar. It is enough for sugar tongues to bake for only 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
