  • Pasta - 130 gr.
  • Sausages - 3 pcs.
  • Hard cheese - 250 gr.
  • Onions - a pair of heads
  • Tomato paste - 2-3 tablespoons
  • Butter (for frying onions) - 30 gr.
  • Pepper and salt - to taste
  • Fresh herbs (dill or parsley) - for serving.

Recipe:

  1. First boil the pasta until done. Pasta can be either regular or spaghetti.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, you will make the sauce. To do this, finely chop the onion, and then set it to fry in butter. When the onion begins to brown, remove it from the heat and add the tomato paste diluted with three tablespoons of water.
  3. Boil the sausages and chop them finely, then add to the pan to the onion, to which the tomato paste was added above. Put it all out and the sauce will be ready. Don't forget to pepper and salt it.
  4. Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater and leave it aside for now.
  5. Grease a baking dish or a regular frying pan with high sides with butter. Also sprinkle the bottom breadcrumbs. This is all you need so that your casserole does not burn.
  6. Next, lay out layers in this form (or pan): boiled pasta, sauce with sausages prepared earlier, then grated cheese, then again pasta, sauce, cheese, etc. until it's all over. At the end, be sure to evenly sprinkle a good layer of shredded cheese on top of the casserole.
  7. Place the casserole dish in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C and bake until cooked through. It takes about 15 minutes to bake.

You can serve this yummy by sprinkling chopped herbs on top. Also, this casserole goes well with a salad of fresh tomatoes with cucumbers and onions.
