During frying, the dough may swell, so it is recommended to pierce it with a fork in several places. Fry sausage and cheese cakes until golden brown on each side.

As a green ingredient fit:

  • onion greens;
  • dill;
  • parsley;
  • cilantro;
  • combination different types green mass.

There are two ways to prepare such cakes:

We offer a kind of culinary compromise - cheese and ham filling:

  • ham - 100 grams;
  • cheese (for example, sausage) - 100 grams;
  • greens - a small bunch.

We pass cheese and ham through a grater, add chopped greens. There is no need to salt. We mix everything thoroughly.

Recipe for cheese cakes without kefir

Almost all housewives prepare cakes using kefir. But there are those who do not use kefir, but milk.

What you need for this dish:

  • A glass of milk;
  • Dry yeast - half a teaspoon;
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp. a spoon;
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon;
  • Flour - 300-350 g;
  • Butter - 50-60 g;
  • Vegetable oil for frying.

To begin with, milk needs to be slightly warmed up, after which dry yeast, salt and sugar are poured into it. The sifted flour should be divided into two parts.

First, add one part to the milk and mix well. The next step is to add pre-melted butter. Only after that you can roll up your sleeves, add the remaining flour and start kneading the dough. When it is ready, you do not need to instantly make "pancakes". Cover the dough with a towel or gauze and let it rest for about an hour.

After the allotted time, we separate the identical parts one by one and roll out the cakes. Prepare a place for frying: heat the pan and grease with oil.

Fry each cake over moderate heat for two to three minutes until golden brown.

  1. If you cover them with a lid when cooking tortillas in a pan, their taste characteristics will be similar to tortillas from the oven. But at the same time, the quality of the pan must be taken into account;
  2. Experiment with toppings: traditional tortillas with ham, sausages, eggs and greens will surprise few people. But with shrimp, tomatoes and aromatic herbs - they will make even the neighbors wonder what you are cooking so tasty;
  3. Remember that if you are frying a dish in a pan, then it should already be warmed up before you start laying out the cakes. A similar situation with the oven and multicooker. The oven must be turned on in advance, and in the slow cooker you need to set the time for 5-10 minutes more so that it heats up in extra minutes, and only after that put the cakes for baking there;
  4. In addition, cakes can be prepared in a slightly different form. In this case, a couple of parts are made from the dough, which are rolled into “pancakes” 1.5-2 cm thick. It is best to estimate the dimensions according to the pan or multicooker bowl (or oven tray) in which you are going to fry. Next, cut each part like a pizza into 6-8 pieces and lay out the fry in the same form;
  5. You can also diversify such a dish not only with fillings, but also with sauces: sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard - everything that your imagination is enough for;
  6. Love this dish for breakfast? Then prepare all the ingredients in the evening, and in the morning immerse everything in a slow cooker. And while you shower, clean up and get ready, your assistant will prepare breakfast for you and make sure it doesn't get cold.
