The only recommendation is to choose embossed rather than smooth types, because in this way the sauce with which we pour the casserole will linger on the pasta and not flow down.
  2. We clean the onion and cut it in a way convenient for you. We do the same manipulations with sausages. Then fry them for vegetable oil. By the way, the taste of your dish will completely depend on the choice of sausages, therefore, if it is included in children's menu, give preference to dairy. A more spicy option will turn out if you use hunting or Viennese sausages.
  3. preparing the sauce. Beat the eggs with sour cream (you can replace it with heavy cream), add salt and spices to taste there.
  4. rub the cheese on a coarse grater.
  5. At this point, our pasta should be ready. Drain them in a colander and rinse with cold water. Now all the ingredients for the casserole are ready, so it's time to turn on the oven to warm up and collect them together.
  6. grease the form with oil (vegetable or creamy - of your choice), you can sprinkle breadcrumbs. We spread the pasta in the first layer, then the sausage-onion filling, which we cover with the remaining pasta. Pour sauce over everything. But further actions depend on your taste: if you like soft, viscous cheese, then we send the casserole to the oven in this form. If you like crispy cheese crust, then the final layer will be grated cheese, and we set it to bake right with it.

After about 40 minutes in the oven, our sausage pasta casserole will be ready. But you should not take this time as an exact guideline, since the cooking speed depends more on specifications ovens. Sometimes it takes 25-30 minutes, and sometimes an entire hour.

Recipe 2. With sausage and vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • pasta - 500 grams;
  • sausage / ham - 200-300 grams;
  • eggs - 2-3 pieces;
  • hard cheese - 200 grams;
  • milk - 1 glass;
  • tomato - 2 pieces;
  • onion - 1 piece;
  • champignons - 100-150 grams (optional);
  • butter - 50 grams;
  • salt, spices.

The cooking method is not much different from the previous one:

  1. Boil the pasta until "undercooked".
  2. cut the onion into half rings, cut the mushrooms into slices and fry in a small amount of butter. We use mushrooms only if children do not feast on the casserole, since their body is simply not able to process such heavy food. Poisoning can happen even from seemingly harmless mushrooms like champignons, so it’s better not to take risks and abandon this ingredient. Or make a separate portion for the kids.
  3. blanch tomatoes: pour over boiling water or dip in it for a couple of seconds. Then remove the skin and cut into cubes. In the same way, cut the sausage or ham, and then mix the ingredients.
  4. now fill. Beat milk, eggs, spices and salt until smooth.
  5. rub the cheese.
  6. Lubricate a deep form with oil and lay out about a third of the pasta. The second layer is a sausage-tomato mix, which we cover with another third of pasta. The fourth layer will be the fried mushrooms and onions, and the last layer will be the rest of the pasta. Pour all this with the egg-milk mixture and send to bake.

7 minutes before readiness, we take out the form and sprinkle the casserole with cheese. In total, it takes an average of 30 minutes to cook at 180 degrees, so after 15 minutes, start looking at the dish.
