  6. Remove the top parchment. We take a mold in the form of a large heart and right on the sheet we begin to form our sweet valentines. The dough that is left will be put into action again: we will collect it in a lump, roll it out and make a few more hearts.
  7. Now take a smaller heart shape and cut out these things. At the same time, we also form a bunch of small hearts.
  8. We put the dough in a hot oven at 180 degrees. For 7-10 minutes, but you watch for readiness - the cookies should remain soft, not overdried, light.

Cut out hearts with a cookie cutter. 6 Spread on a baking sheet and bake in a hot oven at 180 degrees for 7-10 minutes. 7 Cover the cooled cookies with marzipan with pink icing and decorate to your taste. Enjoy your meal!

The dough should turn out to be quite liquid, almost like pancakes - in consistency. 4 Prepare a circle template (glass, glass, something round) with a diameter of about 7-8 cm. This is the most convenient diameter for our future products. On a sheet of parchment, apply 6 such circles and turn the sheet over with a pencil drawing down. Parchment quality can be different - you need to choose one so that the cookies do not stick to the paper. You can also just grease a baking sheet with oil and spread the dough on it - it lags behind perfectly and nothing sticks!

We spread 1 tablespoon of the dough in the center of the circle and in a circular motion with a spoon we level along the borders of the circle, smearing the dough. You don’t need to make them too thin, otherwise they will break when folded.

5 We send the sheet to a preheated oven (180-190 degrees) for 5 minutes - until the edges are slightly browned. We will get out of the included, hot oven with the door open, one at a time, as the cookies break easily when cooling. 6 Prepare strips with wishes and confessions, as well as several round small containers, for example, coffee cups, pieces 4. Now we take out the hot (while it is plastic) cookie from the oven, put the strip with recognition in the middle and wrap it in half, aligning the edges. 7 Using the edge of the glass, we form our cookies: put it across on the edge of the glass, with the seam up, and press the edges down, we get the shape of such a “half dumpling”. In order for the form to be preserved and frozen in this form - put the rolled cookie on the bottom of the cup - let it cool there.
8 To get pink (and hearts should be exactly that color!) Cookies, add 2 drops of food gel coloring to the dough. The rest of the cooking steps are exactly the same. By the way, baking paper can be reused.

From the volume of products indicated in the recipe, approximately 24 cookies with a diameter of 7.5 cm are obtained.

These are mini cakes in red chocolate icing on a stick, made in the form of hearts. fragrant, delicious treat and a wonderful gift for Valentine's Day - sweet edible heart-cookies are no worse than painted heart-cards.

Ingredients:

  • 400 gr. - biscuit;
  • 2 tbsp — Strawberry jam;
  • 60 gr. - butter;
  • glaze: 40 ml. - cream 30%; 70 gr. — White chocolate; food coloring; sugar decorations;
1 Biscuit can be taken ready-made, or you can bake it yourself. For example, according to one of these, we break our biscuit into pieces and add strawberry jam (jam, syrup), softened butter to it, mix everything thoroughly. 2 We tear off a piece from the dough, suitable in size to our heart mold. We roll it into a tight ball, place it in a mold and tamp it down to give density and shape. Carefully lay out the hearts from the mold on a sheet (plate, board), covered with a film. If it is not enough to compact the dough in the form, the heart may fall apart, pay attention to this. It is convenient to additionally cut a heart out of cardboard according to the size of our molds. Covering the dough with this heart, pressing down with your finger, it is convenient to remove the hearts from the mold, it turns out very neatly, with even, clear edges. 3 From this volume of dough, 17 hearts were obtained. We send them to the freezer - for one hour, so that the hearts harden. 4 Melt the white chocolate in a water bath. Prepare wooden sticks (skewers). We dip them with one end in hot chocolate and stick into our hearts almost to the middle of the heart. We send another half hour to the freezer. 5 Prepare the frosting. Bring the cream to a hot state, but do not boil. Pour chocolate into hot cream and stir. Add coloring and knead again. 6 Holding the heart by the stick, coat it with icing. While the icing is setting, decorate with additional hearts or beads from the cake decorating set. 7 Everyone! We let the glaze harden, and we get wonderful mini-cakes in the shape of hearts that will help us celebrate Valentine's Day with dignity.

Lemon valentines cookies.


Such cookies are prepared in many countries on Valentine's Day, which is why they are called "Valentines". In fact, this is quite shortbread with lemon zest - delicious, unusually fragrant, with a rich dense taste, and if you decorate it not only with pink or red icing, but also with small hearts (from a set of ready-made cake decorations), then the image of this holiday will be fully expressed, at 100 %.

Ingredients:

  • 400 g flour
  • 4 yolks
  • 250 g softened butter (in a pack 200 g, but 250 g is needed)
  • 150 g sugar
  • zest of one lemon
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar;
1 Preparatory stage. Separate the whites from the yolks (only the yolks are needed for the dough). Finely grate the zest of 1 lemon. 2 Combine softened butter, egg yolks, flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and zest. The butter should be softened, but not melted. Knead an elastic homogeneous dough. Then cover with cling film or a disposable bag and leave in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. 3 Remove the dough from the refrigerator and divide it into parts and roll it into a layer of 2-3 mm. The board (or table) must be sprinkled with flour so that the dough does not stick.

It is worth warning that the dough is quite fragile, when rolling it breaks around the edges and cracks, but do not be afraid, it should be so, you can glue it at the seams with your hands for convenience.

4 Cut out figures from the dough with a cookie cutter. Using a spatula, transfer the figures to a baking sheet lined with foil or baking paper. The baking sheet does not need to be lubricated with oil. the dough is too oily. 5 Bake cookies for 12-15 minutes at 180 C in a well-heated oven until golden brown. 6 Decorate with white and pink icing.

For simple icing you need to take:

  • 150 g of powdered sugar;
  • 2 tsp lemon juice;
  • 1 st. l. cold boiled water;
  • Food coloring;

Mix everything and grind thoroughly in a bowl. The icing is ready when a drop of it placed on a plate does not spread. Such icing can decorate cookies (and any confectionery) both covering them completely with icing, and drawing patterns and lines with a confectionery syringe or an envelope.

You can also put simple paper red hearts on a dish with such cookies, with wishes and declarations of love written on the back - it will turn out elegant and unusual, solemn and exciting - quite in the spirit of this wonderful holiday!

How to make heart cookie cutters yourself and celebrate February 14 fully armed!

If you have beautiful and convenient cookie cutters - just great, this section will not be very interesting for you ... But, you see, sometimes the molds can break, mysteriously disappear (hello Barabashka!) At the most crucial moment, and there is no time to buy new ones (reluctance, nothing to emphasize)…

Recipe for colored glaze for painting gingerbread:

  • 1 protein
  • 200 gr. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice;

A few notes on this recipe:

  1. powdered sugar you need to take (or make) as finely ground as possible. Large particles will give unnecessary graininess to our glaze. Therefore, it is better to sift the powdered sugar through a fine sieve to exclude large inclusions.
  2. Lemon juice can be replaced citric acid, diluted in water. Lemon juice not only gives sourness to sweet glaze, but also plays another important role - it does not allow it to quickly crystallize.
  3. Dyes need to be selected. Of course, only food. Those who do not tolerate chemical additives and do not want to use them in principle can use natural juices red berries or beets - for red and pink hues. But keep in mind that juices will give a lot of dampness to our glaze and it can dry for a very long time.
  4. Can be used dry paint- dilute it in a small amount of water and inject it into the protein. At the same time, slightly increase the amount of powdered sugar.
  5. To glaze dried up faster - you can dry products with a layer of glaze applied to them in the oven at minimum power. It is also worth doing for those who are afraid to eat raw egg white.
  6. Is it possible store ready icing? Under what conditions and for how long? Yes, you can keep it in the fridge for a couple of days. It can be longer, but it changes its consistency. To increase the shelf life, you can wrap the bag in a wet napkin and close it under the lid in a plastic container, and store it in the refrigerator in this form.
  7. After complete drying frosting becomes very hard- this is normal, it should be so.
